At present we have two key projects – our food and clothing bank for those in need, and our Zakat fund which funds it. In addition we are also currently working on another two key projects, which are currently in the planning phase. The first one is our pledge to help end housing poverty and provide housing equity for all. The current housing system in the UK is unfair and corrupted by a financial banking system that that is unaccountable. The social housing stock in the UK is extremely limited and allocated in an unbalanced way with local authorities and councils simply not doing enough.
Our second project currently in planning is to build a Masjid in Africa, we are currently sourcing land and speaking with partners abroad to begin work on this and hope to have an official start date in place later in the year.
